LWNG is a network of home-based business women in support of each other and the Loudoun community.
We're a unique networking group. We do not charge a membership fee, and while we support each other through referrals, we reach beyond,
finding creative ways to help our businesses grow.
Also, our group has a strong community and charitable focus. We work together to
benefit non-profit organizations and to promote women in Loudoun County. Read more about the

JOINING: After you contact us, come to a meeting and if you like what you hear, then you have one more meeting to decide whether you care to become a member. At the third meeting, we will provide you with an application and a membership packet. We do not charge a membership fee, but we expect you to attend meetings regularly and expect that each member will contribute to group projects based on her unique talents and capabilities. Also, we collect an optional fee from members who would like to have their businesses posted on our website. We currently have a membership limit of 20, and occasionally there is a waiting list.
PROFILE: We are an Ashburn Virginia based group of up to 20 professionals who operate home-based businesses in Loudoun County, with a collective knowledge and experience base that exceeds 40 years.
We seek to support our community and each other. We are skilled in direct sales and charitable deeds. We are a networking group that emphasizes the completion of projects and goals.
HISTORY: Founded in February 2007 on the belief that success most likely occurs when a group of talented individuals works together to achieve it.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
- In 2007, contributed in excess of $1,500 to silent auctions that benefited non-profit organizations in Loudoun County.
- Operate a subcommittee dedicated to the support of charities in our community.
- Encourage and support each other in the growth of our individual businesses, through creative and traditional projects.
- Organized and attended several successful vendor fairs throughout Loudoun.
- We continue to explore ways to partner with local businesses.
- Since 2007, we have had 23 members participate in our group, and a total of 26 businesses.
- We have provided over 30 leads for our members in the past year.
- We have FUN!

LWNG has been such a helpful, fun, generous and LOUD group of women! There have been many times when I have used the advice, ideas, encouragement, and support of these ladies to get through the tough times we all experience when we start a business. There is SO much more we can accomplish for each other, and for Loudoun as a group, vs. individuals. But the best part of LWNG has been watching and being blessed by all of the friendships that have developed within the group.
